Forest View Leisure Residences

When we went to Subic (see my post about Zoobic Safari) last May, we stayed at Forest View Leisure Residences. Let me go through our experience about our overnight stay at their Deluxe Villa.

Since our trip is unplanned and because it's a peak season, the only available villa that time is the Deluxe Villa. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets and baths, air-conditioning and water heating system, kitchen with wares and utensils, dining area, living room with cable TV, patio, and own carport.

Forest View Leisure Residences is 10-15 minutes away from Zoobic Safari and can easily be found via the SCTEX. Pero kami ay nanalig sa powers ng Google Maps hehe... It is a secluded area and their residential villas can also be rented in a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The villas are perfect for families with 6-7 members with an average budget.

The villa that we stayed in is a little old but clean. There are some rustic areas but spacious for us. The restrooms are clean but there's nothing special about it. Good thing there's a bath tub so the kids somehow enjoyed it. The beds in the bedroom are comfortable and the beddings are clean. The two bedrooms can accommodate 4 persons and the Masters bedroom can also accommodate 2 more. There's also a built-in cabinet in each room. The living area is quite small and the dining area can be a little crowded with the small space. The kitchen area is really commendable and big. It is a full kitchen so you can save a lot of money in going out to dine in restaurants plus you can enjoy the food just like at the comforts of your home. The air conditioning is really excellent so walang problem ang mga bagets hehe...

Other activities and rates:
I wasn't able to take a photo of the pool but it's only an adult pool. Buti na lang may salbabida kami and a life vest but the kids were so afraid we had to carry them. Siguro we stayed at the pool for 30 minutes only. Ang tapang ng chlorine e.

To conclude, it's a good place to stay for big families but the management could really think of improving their facilities and amenities. Yung area nila maganda, pang Fontana levelz but cheaper version nga lang. I think we paid more or less P7000 for an overnight stay. If you will stay here, don't expect for the usual hotel amenities. It's also a bit far from the Supermarket/grocery and other establishments. There's a store inside but with limited choices so we still went out to buy some things. If you have an average budget and just want to roam around Subic with a big group, this is OK. Otherwise, book in a hotel. =)

In a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is best, I give Forest View Leisure Residences a 7.

And the most important thing is that we all enjoyed.

  1. It's a bit old nga but the price is reasonable especially if it has 3 bedrooms. One thing I like is the kitchen, guests can cook there and enjoy the place like their own home.

  2. Never been there. Kahit taga Subic ako, dami ko pang dapat iexplore na places hehe!

Yes, that's the most important thing, as long as you all enjoyed. Minsan naman kahit pa luma ang place, basta accommodating ang staff, bawi na din.

The next time you come here, let me know so we can meet.

  4. I guess it really doesn't matter where you go, as long as you're with family :). Looks like the kids really had fun. I'd love to jump on the bed with them too :)

  5. It's nice to see you've bonded and spent quality time with your family especially the kids. I guess, it's what matters most but it's more fun if the place is really great. The villa looks just fine. :)

  7. A bit pricey for most families, but the location is good for malapit sa subic plus has some of the amenities of home. Pwede mag luto ng food para makatipid at magsama mga marami para sulit.. Good choice!!
